Music World Entertainment launched the careers of music legends Destiny’s Child and Beyonce Knowles. Mathew Knowles, founder of the company, helped propel Music World to sell more than 300 million records worldwide. Functioning both as an artist management company and an umbrella for several music labels, the company needed an additional channel to promote artist performances, appearances, album releases and philanthropy.
I spent time at Music World HQ working with label managers to craft an email design that could be used for promoting album launches and special events. I designed and coded a template they could use with their MailChimp service, and the first emails sent were to promote the album launch for the band Trinitee. Shortly after that, Music World used the template to kick off their Star Academy coaching sessions geared for aspiring artists.
