Hello, I'm Matthew and I'm a designer living in Atlanta, GA. I created this site to share inspiring content and to write a bit about my experiences in the industry.
Brian Miller, the artist and illustrator behind the Orlin Culture Shop, designed the artwork used in the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Farm” promotion from Beekman 1802. These impeccable illustrations were used to create the packaging that wraps up the Beekaman gift sets sold on Home Shopping Network.
The brief was to capture the heart and spirit of Beekman Farms in five illustrations. Let’s agree that Brian crushed that brief, because this artwork is gorgeous. All of the texture, shadow, and light cast a sentimental glow and reinforce you’re receiving gifts fresh from the farm. If you venture over to HSN, you’ll see that the foil papers of the packaging really catch the lights, adding another dimension.
Brian’s case study for this project offers an interesting peak into his process. He shares early sketches, black and white treatments, and the evolution into his final illustrations. Check it out on his Behance page.
